About the Role
Join a specialty home infusion pharmacy as a Medical Biller / Reimbursement Specialist, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate billing, efficient collections, and timely reimbursement. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in working with various payer types.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit accurate claims via paper, clearinghouse, and online systems
- Resolve claim denials and ensure full follow-through to payment
- Post payments, reconcile accounts, and process adjustments
- Identify trends in denials and recommend process improvements
- Handle patient billing inquiries and provide required documentation
- Assist with month-end close, inventory maintenance, and contract updates
- Support real-time claims submissions and troubleshooting with the pharmacy team
- High School Diploma or equivalent (billing coursework preferred)
- 1–3 years of medical billing experience (infusion pharmacy a plus)
- Experience with CareTend or CPR+ preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of billing for multiple payer types and healthcare coding
Schedule & Benefits
Hours:
Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
