Description:
- Evaluate patient needs and assist with examinations and treatments
- Administer prescribed medications as directed by the physician
- Prepare and apply dressings; provide patient education on health measures and self-care
- Document and report clinical findings and observations accurately
- Perform EKGs and provide on-site emergency care within scope of practice
- Complete required color blindness testing
- Utilize electronic health records with advanced proficiency
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients and staff
- Follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision
- Maintain knowledge of medical equipment and perform basic maintenance
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Active Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (AHA) or CPR/AED
- Three years of experience as a certified Medical Assistant, or five years combined certified and non-certified experience (minimum two years certified)
- At least one year of experience as a lead MA or training other Medical Assistants
- Experience supporting or leading clinical change initiatives

- Strong proficiency in phlebotomy, EKGs, and administering injections
- Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) EHR
- Familiarity with telehealth workflows and remote patient monitoring tools
- Basic knowledge of medical billing and coding
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume clinic
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with diverse populations
- High attention to detail in documentation and clinical procedures
