Key Responsibilities
As a Medical Assistant, you’ll be a vital part of our mission, blending clinical expertise with front office efficiency to deliver outstanding patient experiences. Your role will include:
Clinical Duties (Based on Credentials):
Perform essential clinical tasks such as taking patient vitals, conducting EKGs, and performing phlebotomy with precision and care.
Administer intramuscular (IM) injections and prepare laboratory order forms.
Retrieve and review patient lab results to support seamless care.
Assist physicians or mid-level practitioners with patient referrals to other healthcare professionals.
Document patient progress in charts and/or EMR systems with accuracy.
Conduct follow-up calls to monitor patient progress and provide empathetic support.
Take on additional clinical responsibilities as needed to ensure top-tier patient care.
Administrative Duties:
Manage a multi-line phone system, efficiently routing calls and addressing inquiries.
Deliver exceptional patient service by greeting patients warmly and maintaining a welcoming, professional environment.
Support clinic operations by monitoring inventory levels for clinical and office supplies.
Perform daily scanning and uploading of patient documents to maintain organized records.
Train colleagues on daily procedures as directed by the office manager or physician.
Contribute to clinic marketing initiatives to drive profitability and promote our mission.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Medical Assistant who brings:
Certification: Valid Medical Assistant certification.
Front Office Expertise: Proven experience in front office duties, including knowledge of insurance and verification of benefits (VOB).
Clinical Skills: Proficiency in EKG, phlebotomy, and clinical documentation.
Exercise Knowledge: Prior training or experience in exercise is a plus, but not required.
Interpersonal Excellence: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and colleagues.
