- 2+ years of front/back office MA experience
- Certified Medical Assistant

The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Act as an Ambassador to patients, referring physicians and other callers/guests
- Monitor and schedule patient appointments as required
- Process Medical Records requests
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Chart preparation for clinic
- Provide paperwork and gather data for new patients
- Review insurance information and verify benefits
- Room patient; take vitals and help take patient history for providers
The selected candidate will also possess:
- HS diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree preferred
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assisting program, National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to read, write, speak and
- understand English and Spanish clearly
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience with an Electronic Medical Record
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Working knowledge of insurance (PPO, HMO, Medi-Cal, IEHP)
Salary Range: $20-$25/hr
