Medical Assistant Ryan Dominguez, MD (La Jolla, CA)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, privately owned hybrid-concierge family medicine practice as a Medical Assistant. We are seeking a dependable and personable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

You will play a key role in ensuring a seamless and compassionate experience for our patients. While this position is primarily back-office focused, some front-office responsibilities are included.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Back Office Duties:

• Rooming and triaging patients
• Recording vital signs and updating the EMR
• Administering immunizations and injections
• Performing EKGs and spirometry
• Managing patient calls, prescription refills, and referrals
• Managing inventory and supply ordering
• Assisting with other clinical tasks as needed

Front Office Duties:

• Greeting and checking in patients
• Enrolling new patients
• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• Handling phone calls and general inquiries
• Securing prior authorizations and entering demographic information
• Supporting general office functions

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a medical practice, preferred
• Phlebotomy experience, preferred
• Proficient in EMR systems and general computer use
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, outgoing demeanor and professional presentation
• Strong multitasking skills and a team-oriented mindset

Compensation and Benefits:
