Medical Assistant/Patient Services Rep - Float - Full Time

We're looking for a compassionate, reliable Full-TimeMedical Assistant/Patient Services Rep Float who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping people feel cared for and supported.
In this unique dual-role position, you'll gain hands-on experience in both clinical (Medical Assistant) and administrative (Patient Services) functions. You'll rotate between responsibilities, developing a broad skill set and becoming a versatile, highly valued member of the care team.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
No evenings, weekends, or major holidays.
What you'll do:
- Support providers with patient care, including vitals, immunizations, and phlebotomy.
- Be a key point of contact for patients-answering questions and coordinating care.
- Assist with scheduling, insurance authorizations, and patient communication.
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure smooth daily clinic operations.
- Help with other tasks as needed.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A dependable team player who can adapt to changing needs and juggle multiple responsibilities with ease.
- Basic arithmetic, computer and analytical skills.
- Enjoy working with people, being a team player and willing to help others with tasks.
- Able to communicate effectively in English-both written and verbal-while maintaining a professional and respectful tone with patients and colleagues.
- Additional languages helpful.
Education and Experience:
- High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
- 2 years' experience preferred.
- 1-year Medical Office experience.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Standing and walking for extended periods, Lifting up to 50lbs.
- Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment.
- Inside, climate-controlled working conditions.

The salary range listed is the base salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to work experience, education, and/or skill level.
