Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift

Scope of Role
As a Medical Assistant, you’ll work under direct supervision to assist physicians and clinicians with patient care duties, promote efficient patient flow, and perform essential clinic support tasks. You’ll be a key part of our mission to deliver exceptional care to every patient, every day.
Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities
- Escort patients to exam rooms and treatment areas
- Record vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication updates
- Prepare and stock exam rooms; order supplies as needed
- Assist with exams and procedures
- Administer injections (subcutaneous/intramuscular) as delegated
- Maintain room disinfection protocols
- Answer patient calls and relay messages to clinical staff
- Phone in prescriptions and follow up with patients
- Support administrative tasks: scheduling, chart prep, filing, and reception
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- 0–3 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Current BCLS certification (or obtained within 3 months of hire)
- Certified Medical Assistant preferred
- Must meet any state-specific certification requirements
Physical & Work Environment
- Requires standing/walking for long periods and occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs)
- Exposure to typical oncology clinic conditions including communicable diseases and medical substances
