About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with our client to hire a Medical Assistant who is passionate about supporting individuals and families within the community. This role plays a key part in connecting people to the health resources they need.
Job Description:
The Medical Assistant will work directly with providers, patients, and clinical staff. This position is ideal for someone comfortable in a patient care clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary equipment based on the direction of the provider.
- Room patients, providing a welcoming and safe space.
- Collect and confirm demographics and take blood pressure, height, and weight.
- Address and record chief complaints.
- Collaborate with provider on basic procedures and ensure rooms are safe and kept tidy.
Qualifications:
- Medical Assisting Degree from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) program required
- Current BLS Certification
- 1-3 years of Medical Assisting experience
