Duration: 11-Week Contract
Schedule
Monday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Medical Assistant to support both front and back office operations in a collaborative clinical environment. This role includes direct patient care, administrative coordination, and clinical procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and room patients in a professional and welcoming manner
Obtain and document vital signs accurately
Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture
Administer vaccines as directed
Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
Assist with appointment scheduling and manage incoming calls
Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
Provide general clinical and administrative support
Collaborate effectively with providers and clinical staff
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (in addition to externship)
Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required
EMR experience required
Current BLS or CPR certification
Strong communication and computer skills
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
Experience supporting both front and back office operations
