We currently have clinics located in Boulder (2 locations), Louisville, Longmont, and Erie.
Summary:
Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is currently seeking Medical Assistant (MA) candidates to join our Pediatric Team! This is benefit eligible working 38 hours per week in Boulder and Longmont.

- Day shift schedules are Monday through Friday.
- Experience working in both primary care and specialty care clinics.
Job Duties
- Provides comprehensive professional nursing care to individuals and/or families acting as the patient’s advocate, facilitator, and educator.
- Recognizes, evaluates, and responds to emergency or unusual situations in the clinic, using nursing judgment to ensure medical care.
- Assists the patient and/or instructs the patient in preparation for the provider’s examination and/or specific treatment.
- Prepares examination/treatment rooms for provider’s use by ensuring that appropriate supplies, equipment and instruments are available and ready on a daily basis. Maintains examination/treatment rooms in a neat and orderly manner.
- Assists the provider with examination by anticipating needs for instruments and supplies. (e.g., minor surgery, pelvic examinations, diagnostic procedures, etc.)

Required Experience:
- Must be able to recognize and identify patient’s symptoms and use appropriate professional judgment in course of action.
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and work at all four (4) BMC sites, as assigned.
- Must be available by phone to accept assignment changes as needed.
Education Requirements (one of the following options):
- Completion of Medical Assistant education. *Certification is not required but preferred.
- Other completed medical training, education, and proof of active certification is an acceptable substitution of Medial Assistant specific credentials. (Examples include but are not limited to: EMT, Surgical Tech, CNA, etc.).
- Military medical training and education with supporting documentation is an acceptable substitution of Medial Assistant specific credentials.
- College graduates with a completed four (4) year bachelor's degree is an acceptable substitution of Medial Assistant specific credentials. *College transcripts must reflect completed health science course work. Please submit a copy of your unofficial college transcripts at the time of applying.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) in a clinic setting, preferred
The starting hourly pay range for this position is commensurate with experience:
- $18.91 - $23.50/hour (full pay range is $18.91 - $27.54)
This position will be posted for a minimum of three days, subsequently until filled.
