Join our Mercy Clinic team at Mercy South! We’re seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to support our trauma services by providing direct patient care, assisting with exams, procedures, and treatments, and performing lab duties and EKGs. Responsibilities include patient scheduling, registration, billing, and insurance tasks, as well as maintaining infection control standards and clinic supplies. Strong communication, flexibility, and organizational skills are essential, along with a commitment to patient education, HIPAA compliance, and excellent customer service.

Position Details:

Medical Assistant

Schedule: Full Time | Monday to Friday

Qualifications
Education: HS Diploma or GED
Experience: Completion of an accredited MA education program
Certifications: Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred but not required
Other: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Basic computer knowledge.
