Training Requirement: Two weeks
Potential: May transition to full‑time for the right candidate

About the Role

We are seeking a flexible and skilled Medical Assistant to provide both clinical and front‑office support in our health center. The ideal candidate is adaptable, reliable, and experienced in both patient care and administrative responsibilities.

Work Schedule

• Monday/Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday/Thursday/Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient preparation, examinations, and treatments.
• Prepare patients by obtaining medical history, vital signs, and coordinating care.
• Manage patient flow and maintain exam room readiness.
• Clean and sterilize instruments according to protocol.
• Administer medications and review instruction sheets with patients.
• Perform medical tasks such as injections, point‑of‑care testing, and EKGs.
• Support front office operations including:
• • Scheduling
  • Patient check‑in/check‑out
  • Records scanning
• Other clinical and administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least 2 years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Ability to perform:
• • Vital signs
  • Phlebotomy/lab draws
  • Injections
  • Point‑of‑care testing
  • EKGs
• Strong clinical (back office) and administrative (front office) skills.

Preferred:

• Phlebotomy certification.
