About the Job
Advanced Specialty Care, P.C. is seeking a Full-time Medical Assistant to work alongside our team of collegiate physicians and clinical team members in our ENT department. On-the-job training!
Objective:
This position provides efficient delivery of patient care and provides support and assistance as directed by licensed staff in rendering basic healthcare to the patient.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Rooms patient
- Prepares patient for exam.
- Patient education.
- Assist MD with procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 plus year of experience working as a Medical Assistant or CNA.
- Travel is required for satellite locations (Danbury, New Milford, Ridgefield, and Norwalk).
- Must have reliable transportation.
Skills:
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently
- Detail-oriented, meticulous.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Use of computers and software programs; experience with EHR preferred.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday. (34-36 hours)
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule; schedule is based on department needs.
Compensation:
- Salary based on experience.
- Bonus offered: $1,000 after 6 months of employment; $1,000 after one year of employment.
