What You’ll Do:
As a Medical Assistant, you’ll be the backbone of our clinical team providing direct support to providers and compassionate care to patients. Your day might include:
- Welcoming patients and helping them feel at ease
- Taking vitals, administering vaccines, and assisting with screenings
- Performing EKGs, eye tests, and in-house lab testing
- Managing patient records in our EMR and supporting referral processes
- Coordinating care with specialists and participating in team huddles
- Contributing to quality improvement initiatives that make a real impact
What You Bring:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program
- Basic Life Support Certification (required)
- Experience in a clinical or behavioral health setting
- Strong communication, flexibility, and a heart for community care
Preferred:
- Bilingual (Portuguese or Spanish) or have FQHC experience!
