Job Details
What You Will Be Doing
Welcoming patients and preparing them for visits in a friendly, professional manner
Collecting patient histories, vital signs, height, weight, and visit‑specific information
Documenting accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
Assisting providers during exams and in‑office procedures
Performing phlebotomy, routine lab testing, EKGs, and spirometry as needed
Managing patient messages, prescription refills, referrals, and scheduling
Maintaining clean, well‑stocked exam rooms and sterilized instruments
Supporting smooth clinic workflow and collaborating closely with providers and staff
Floating to other offices when operationally needed
Skills & Experience You Need
Experience in patient care as a CNA, EMT, or Medical Assistant, or graduation from an approved MA program
Knowledge of medical terminology and medications
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfort using electronic health records
Ability to obtain BLS certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred:
1+ year in an office‑based physician practice
