Are you exhausted due to the long hospital hour shifts? If so, come join our private owned medical practice where you will work four days a week between Monday and Friday with hours varying between 8:00 am and 5:30pm, for an average total of 34 - 38 hours a week.

Medical Assistants are responsible for providing medical assistance to dermatology providers, including rooming patients, updating all components of the patient’s medical history, documenting reason for visit and history of present illness, scribing for the provider during the visit, assisting the provider with office procedures including, but not limited to, biopsies, surgeries, and cosmetic procedures.

Hours of operation: M-F 8-5:00

Average hours worked per week - 35

Days worked a week - 4

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Obtain history & chief complaint
• Document allergies & medications in EMR via iPad
• Scribe while provider completes exam & evaluation
• Assist with skin cancer surgeries, routine exams, and cosmetic treatments
• Administer injections & anesthetic per provider instructions
• Administer Blu Light Treatments

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current WA State MA license
• Graduate of medical assistant program
• Strong computer and iPad skills
• Excellent spelling and written communication skills
• Strong ethical values
• Dermatology experience a plus
