Available Shifts:

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Rotating Weekends)

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation:

• Salary Range:

  • $27.72/hr (0–5 years of experience)

  • $33.00/hr (5+ years)

  • $36.30/hr (10+ years)

  • $39.60/hr (15+ years)

• Shift Differentials:

  • $3.00/hr for night shifts

  • $2.00/hr for weekend shifts

• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 (based on eligibility)

• Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Summary:

We are seeking a passionate Med-Surg Ortho RN to join our dynamic nursing team at a modern 288-bed hospital in Tallahassee, FL. This role focuses on providing care for patients with medical and orthopedic surgical needs in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and nursing diagnoses

• Deliver and coordinate evidence-based care

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and recovery expectations

• Advocate for patient safety and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

• Ensure efficient use of clinical resources while maintaining high-quality standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (acute care preferred; LTAC experience acceptable)

• Active RN license in the State of Florida (or ability to obtain prior to start)

• BLS certification required

• ACLS preferred (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)

• BSN preferred

• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5 to 1:6
