Job Title: Mechanical Technician, Nuclear
Location: Oak Ridge, TN
Type: Direct Hire
Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Responsibilites:

• Execute mechanical assembly, disassembly, and repair of production equipment, ensuring adherence to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Conduct routine inspections and document equipment condition, identifying wear, defects, or non-conformances in accordance with quality standards (e.g., NQA-1).
• Support equipment qualification and validation activities, including documentation and testing in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Commercial Grade Dedication (EPRI NP-5652) and Equipment Qualification requirements, as applicable.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or associate degree in a mechanical or industrial field preferred.
• Experience maintaining mechanical equipment in industrial environments such as power generation, manufacturing, or heavy industry.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
• Understanding of Commercial Grade Dedication (EPRI NP-5652) preferred.
• Understanding of Equipment Qualification preferred.
