Pay Range: $21-$26/hr

Summary: The Mechanical Quality Technologist is responsible for performing in-process and final inspections of sub-assemblies and finished products in accordance with established standards and specifications. This role applies ISO-9001 quality requirements, documents inspection results, and works closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure product compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process and final inspections to verify products meet engineering, quality, and customer requirements
- Apply ISO-9001 standards by following Inspection Plans, Inspection Specification Procedures, and Process Specifications
- Identify special inspection requirements and ensure assemblies meet all defined criteria
- Conduct specialized inspections as required within the manufacturing process
- Analyze in-process materials and finished goods for quality and conformance
- Monitor assembly processes to ensure adherence to specifications, protocols, and standard work methods
- Interpret test results (including rundown and resistance reports) and validate compliance with specifications and control limits
- Accurately document inspection results, defects, and nonconformances within the quality system
- Ensure inspection and test equipment is properly calibrated, validated, and safely maintained
- Maintain a strong understanding of products, quality processes, and Quality Policy requirements
- Collaborate regularly with production, engineering, and QA teams
- Train and support Assistant Mechanical Quality Technologists as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years’ assembly inspection experience and three or more years’ experience working in a Manufacturing Environment.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to maintain accurate inspection records/document checking
- Ability to ensure inspected products meet company and customer specifications
- Two or more years of assembly inspection experience
- Ability to identify and inspect special assembly requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend part drawings, Bills of Material, Sales Orders, & Technical Documents
