Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Conceptualizing, designing, and implementing mechanical systems and machinery based on requirements and specifications.
2. Creating detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor.
3. Developing and optimizing automation equipment, ensuring its efficiency, reliability, and safety.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the mechanical design interfaces correctly with other physical and functional interfaces.
5. Conducting thorough analysis of designs using engineering principles, simulations, and mathematical models to ensure optimal performance.
6. Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
7. Participating in design reviews and providing innovative solutions to design challenges.
8. Conducting testing and validation of designs, and making necessary modifications to achieve desired performance.
9. Staying updated with the latest technological advancements in the field of mechanical engineering and incorporating them into designs where applicable.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Mechanical Engineer role, you must have:
1. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. 0-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in equipment design / machine design or similar.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar design software.
4. Experience in designing automation equipment is preferred.
5. A strong understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and materials.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
9. The capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.
10. A proactive attitude with a strong desire to continuously improve existing designs.
