Summary: The Mechanical Designer / Drafter will design, develop, and test all aspects of Power Package units to meet our customers’ requirements. Power Package units are predominantly steel structures that enclose generators and electrical power equipment, protect that equipment from the environment, control emissions from that equipment, cool that equipment, and comply with building codes. The Mechanical Designer / Drafter will create models, drawings, and instructions that document how the Power Package units and related systems perform and are produced, integrated, shipped, operated, and maintained. This position will be located at the JTS Caldwell or Nampa facility. Travel between JTS facilities or other travel may be required. This position could be assigned to first or second shift.
