Mechanical Design Engineer

Join our dynamic team as a key player in crafting bespoke mechanical solutions within our Conveyor Systems division. This exempt salaried role involves designing, estimating, and analyzing projects to provide innovative and budget-friendly solutions. We are looking for someone with at least three years of design and estimation experience, as well as a solid background in CADD applications.

**Qualifications and Skills:**

- A solid 3+ years in mechanical design and project estimation.
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Strong analytical prowess, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently or as part of a team.
- Prior experience with Ross ERP and Microsoft Dynamics CRM is advantageous.
- Excellent communication abilities to relay ideas effectively across sales, research, and management teams.
- Knowledgeable about manufacturing processes, costs, and material properties.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Respond to RFQs by crafting precise cost estimates and detailed technical drawings.
- Lead the development and refinement of design plans using advanced CAD tools.
- Collaborate with procurement to finalize cost estimates and compile comprehensive project presentations.
- Provide detailed analytical assessments of material and labor needs based on technical drawings.
