- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for automated machinery.
- Produce detailed drawings, 3D models, and complete assembly documentation.
- Lead projects from initial concept and quotation through final machine testing.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support fabrication and assembly accuracy.
- Work closely with controls, supply chain, and other internal groups to maintain project timelines.
- Create, update, and maintain bills of materials throughout the design cycle.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of mechanical design experience within industrial or automated machinery.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks.
- Broad understanding of manufacturing methods and mechanical design practices.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to generate practical, innovative design solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to participate in hands‑on machine development.
