Responsibilities

• Prepare, cut, and package meat products according to store standards and customer requests.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the meat department, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist customers with product selections and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in receiving shipments and stocking products.
• Ensure all products are properly labeled, priced, and displayed attractively.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a meat department or food handling is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of meat cuts, food safety, and handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills and a customer-service orientation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physical tasks.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
