The Maternity Leave Coverage - Content/Marketing Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing marketing content that aligns with the brand's vision and goals in the retail industry. Newsletter

  • Collaborate with the ecommerce team, draft newsletters highlighting promotions, evergreen content and seasonal campaigns aligned with brand tone and marketing objectives
  • Write & circulate newsletter drafts to the ecommerce and marketing teams for review, feedback, and final approval prior to scheduling
  • Schedule and deploy newsletters through the MagNews ensuring accurate timing

Website

  • Manage and execute website updates across all non-store pages
  • Oversee recurring homepage refreshes to highlight key campaigns, product features, and timely promotions
  • Develop and maintain universal campaign landing pages that support marketing initiatives and drive customer engagement
  • Update the magazine landing page with seasonal or editorial content
  • Create and launch new store pages for upcoming store openings, including pre-opening information and event details

Partnerships

  • Develop partnership content across digital channels, ensuring alignment with brand voice and partner objectives
  • Write and edit magazine articles that highlight collaborations, partner initiatives, and brand storytelling
  • Design and produce Instagram Stories using InDesign templates to visually promote partnership campaigns
  • Adapt creative assets for social media, including resizing images for Facebook and drafting engaging caption copy optimized for platform tone and audience

Content/Copy

  • Support photo and video shoot production, assisting with on-set tasks such as positioning dishes, moving equipment, and coordinating with the culinary team to ensure smooth execution
  • Organize and rename photo assets after shoots for efficient storage and ease of access by the creative and marketing teams
  • Review and proof weekly menu edits for all restaurants and upcoming menu activations-receiving edits by end of day Thursday and returning finalized versions to the graphics team by end of week
  • Copyedit and refine written content for graphics and collateral, including wine club materials, in-store signage, and other promotional assets to ensure accuracy and brand consistency

Events/Classes

  • Manage and prioritize ongoing content requests from local store teams
  • Create custom assets - including photography and copy - to support individual marketing or operational needs
  • Develop and draft new class groupings and related content for upcoming campaigns, ensuring consistency in tone

Digital Advertising

  • Write and optimize copy for PMAX, RSA, and SEM campaigns, ensuring messaging aligns with brand strategy, drives click-through performance, and supports overall digital marketing goals

Profile

  • Must have prior experience working in the Food & Beverage/Retail space
  • Immediately available & able to commit to 3-4 month coverage
  • Ability to work on-site in Manhattan
  • Background in social media, marketing, digital, and/or design
  • Must have strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using marketing tools and platforms, including social media management tools.
