Materials Planner

Contract: 9 month Assignment

Location: Fremont, CA or Tualatin, OR (On site 3 days per week)

 

This position pays between $35.00 and $45.00 per hour.

 

Pay for this contract position is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

• Familiarity with logistics is great - really looking for experience around SAP planning

Support shipments for new products by coordinating engineering owned material to appropriate shipping locations (SAF/ZSA/Wafers) Manage Project Services Fremont Mailbox Manage reservations for material staged in inventory locations Establish and maintain strong relationships between Program/Product Management, Engineering, Production Control, and Supply Chain Ad hoc reporting as needed by Product Group Participate in cross-functional teams and communicate delivery issues related to the build schedule

 

Coordinate material transfers/movement from engineering into unrestricted inventory location or Labs.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

Proficient in Microsoft Excel using VLOOKUPs and formulas Familiar with creating PowerPoint presentations Comfortable navigating SharePoint and SAP

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

Project management experience

Ability to read and interpret multi-level product BOMs Self-starter; able to work and collaborate with team members Strong written and oral communication skills Able to write clear email directions for inventory movement between warehouses, production floor, or engineer's desk Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills Knowledge of SAP transactions such as MD04, MB51, LS24, ME27, MB21, MB22, MB23
