Title: Materials Planner - 3 Openings

Location: Onsite at San Antonio, TX (Local Candidates Only)

Duration: 12 Months
Hours: Monday - Friday / 6:30 AM-3:30 PM

Only W2 candidates are eligible for this position. Third-party or C2C candidates will not be considered

The plant is making some changes to the schedules effective this week. They have made the determination to make 10-hour days mandatory this week. We normally work 6:30 am - 3:30 pm (w/lunch).
We will be transitioning to 10-hour days in the future. 4/10's M-Th

Description

• Required to wear steel-toed shoes all day long.
• No jewelry as this is a plant environment.
• Work within a material planning team at the San Antonio manufacturing facility, where we build Class 6-8 commercial trucks and EVs.
• Plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle.
• Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules.
• Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering.
• Develops specifications for new contract orders.
• Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity; creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise-wide systems

Desired Skills:

• Proficient with MS Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and no experience
• OR
• At least 2 years of shop order planning and purchasing experience
