Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic material planning and inventory control processes.
• Manage raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels to optimize stock and minimize waste.
• Oversee all aspects of material procurement, inbound logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness of materials.
• Utilize MRP/ERP systems to forecast material requirements and develop production schedules.
• Lead and mentor the materials planning and inventory control team.
• Implement cost reduction initiatives related to material acquisition, storage, and handling.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management, supply chain, or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) for inventory control, planning, and procurement.
• Strong understanding of inventory optimization techniques (e.g., JIT, Lean), logistics, and warehousing operations.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing a team.

Bonus Qualifications

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with advanced data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with global sourcing and international logistics.
