Job Overview
- Performs manual and clerical duties, which may utilize computers, in the movement of materials.
- Typically involves filling consumption bins, cycle counting, faxing for materials, and follow-up with vendors/buyers.
- Works under general supervision and receives detailed instructions on assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.
- Pulls material from warehouse stock using a pick list and possibly a radio-frequency device (e.g., identifying part number, lot number, quantity, and location).
- Utilizes a bar code scanner to scan items for material airlock picklist.
- Transports materials (production and non-production) using a forklift, pallet jack, or truck to designated locations.
- Responsible for management and maintenance of materials in assigned roles.
- Participates in and completes weekly cycle count activities.
- Performs SAP transactions to clearly identify the status of materials.
- Examines packages at delivery for damage and verifies identity and quantities against packing slips, invoices, and freight bills.
- Lifts packages up to 50 lbs.

- Prioritizes daily tasks to meet material demands and maintains a neat and orderly workplace.
- Solves problems of limited scope and complexity with direction from lead or co-workers.
- Maintains accuracy in counting and reconciling quantities.
