Materials Accounts Payable Specialist

On-site | $65k–$75k + Year-End Bonus

A fast-growing construction firm is hiring a Materials Accounts Payable Specialist to support a high-volume AP function within a collaborative, people-first accounting team. This is a newly created role due to company growth and increased invoice volume.

What You’ll Do

• Process 120–150 material invoices/week
• Review and code sales & use tax across multiple states
• Manage vendor setup & communication
• Oversee the materials AP inbox
• Validate automated coding in TimberScan Titanium
• Partner with Project Managers for invoice approvals
• Assist with subcontractor AP overflow
• (Nice-to-have) Support expenses, payroll reviews, and union reporting

What We’re Looking For

• 4–5+ years AP experience
• Strong materials AP + tax experience preferred
• High-volume AP comfort
• Construction experience = major plus
• Tech-savvy; AP automation exposure helpful
• Degree preferred, not required
