STS Technical Services is hiring a Material Support & Services Agent in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role supports aircraft component repair operations by working closely with internal Repair Management teams and external repair vendors to ensure parts move efficiently through the repair cycle.

This position is ideal for candidates with experience in supply chain, procurement, customer service, or aviation materials support who thrive in fast-paced, detail-driven environments.

Position Summary

The Material Support & Services Agent supports the Repair Management team by coordinating repair activities for company-owned aircraft assets. This role serves as a key liaison between internal departments and external vendors, ensuring repairs are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Follow up with vendors to obtain repair quotes
  • Interact with vendors and internal teams to dispute and resolve quote discrepancies
  • Generate purchase orders in accordance with Embraer policies
  • Assist the Repair Management team with day-to-day operational activities
  • Coordinate internally and externally to expedite the return of repaired parts
  • Support meetings and conference calls related to Repair Management activities
  • Assist leadership with reporting and repair performance metrics
  • Resolve discrepancies related to repair documentation and paperwork
  • Participate in special projects, including Kaizen initiatives
  • Update operational systems with repair information and status
  • Identify opportunities to improve process flow and work efficiency
  • Perform additional duties related to the Repair Management team as assigned

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, supply chain, or procurement

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Basic knowledge of technical or functional business areas
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts and systems
  • Aeronautical familiarity preferred
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Customer service focused mindset
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet browsers
  • SAP experience preferred
  • English language fluency
