Location: Euclid, OH Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Hire Sync is partnering with a well-established precision manufacturing company to hire multiple Material Handlers at various experience levels in Euclid, Ohio. Whether you are entry-level or bring advanced experience in material control and inventory systems, we have opportunities available to match your background.

This role plays a critical part in supporting production through the safe, accurate handling, tracking, and control of raw materials.

What You’ll Do

• Unload and stage incoming materials including bar stock, forgings, and machine blanks
• Verify quantities against purchase orders and packing lists
• Receive materials into the ERP system and maintain accurate inventory records
• Perform material verification including heat numbers, bundle counts, and locations
• Assist with or perform XRF scanning and compare material certifications to specifications
• Label materials accurately, including color coding and required identification details
• Maintain material traceability including heat codes and certification records
• Coordinate inspection holds, releases, and proper material segregation
• Issue materials to production jobs and verify correct quantities and documentation
• Support production by ensuring materials match job requirements and revisions
• Assist with inventory adjustments, returns, and rework processes
• Identify discrepancies, damaged materials, or compliance issues and escalate appropriately
• Follow all safety procedures, handling requirements, and documentation standards

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to read and follow written instructions, work orders, and documentation
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic to advanced knowledge of metals such as steel, stainless steel, and brass
• Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
• Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
• Understanding of material traceability, heat codes, or certifications is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
