Material Handler/Forklfit-3rd shift

Work Schedule: 11 pm – 7 am, Sunday through Thursday
Pay Rate: 16/hr

• Load billets into ovens and document oven charts with sales order numbers.
• Load empty racks and remove full racks from tracks.
• Retrieve and deliver racks and spacers throughout the plant.
• Unload billet semi-trucks and direct drivers to appropriate scrap trailer returns.
• Accurately complete bills of lading and other administrative forms.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the billet courtyard.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
• Use EPICS software to print tickets and assist with production and inventory tracking.
• Communicate with other plant locations when scrap trailers are required.
• Support other production needs and tasks as assigned by management.

• Proper PPE usage (safety glasses, steel-toe boots, earplugs, gloves, etc.)
• Safety procedures and OSHA compliance
• Daily forklift inspection checklist
• Forklift operation and material transport
• Handling and disposing of scrap materials
• Use of measuring tools (e.g., tape measure, square, etc.)

• Must Have Steel Toe Shoes Prior to Interviewing
• Minimum 5 years of forklift/Hi-Lo operation experience.
• Hi-Lo certification preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Must have excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work 8–10 hour shifts, 6 days a week.
• Ability to commute between multiple company locations as needed.
• Willingness to participate in company training and continuous improvement.
• Ability to read and write in English fluently with proficiency
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Ability to work in varying extreme temperatures (hot or cold)
