Salary Range: $70,000 - $104,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on sales forecasts and customer orders.
• Conduct capacity planning to ensure production feasibility and identify potential bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) teams to align production plans with business goals.
• Monitor schedule adherence, analyze variances, and adjust the MPS as needed.
• Coordinate with material planning, procurement, and production to ensure timely resource availability.
• Manage and integrate demand forecasts into the production planning process.
• Optimize inventory levels to meet customer service targets while minimizing carrying costs.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in master scheduling, production planning, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for demand planning, capacity planning, and scheduling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and optimize production schedules.
• Deep understanding of supply chain principles, Lean manufacturing, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software or simulation tools.
