Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for all products, aligning with sales forecasts and customer orders.
  • Conduct capacity planning to validate MPS feasibility, identifying and resolving potential resource constraints.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, production, procurement, and logistics to synchronize production plans.
  • Monitor schedule adherence and production performance, proactively identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Manage inventory levels for finished goods and critical components, optimizing for service level and cost efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement in scheduling processes, forecast accuracy, and on-time delivery metrics.
  • Utilize ERP/MRP systems to generate, update, and analyze production schedules and material requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in master scheduling, production planning, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for scheduling, capacity planning, and inventory control.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including demand forecasting, data analysis, and optimization techniques.
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, production constraints, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively coordinate with sales, production, procurement, and logistics teams.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency with specific APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) software beyond standard ERP modules (e.g., Kinaxis RapidResponse, SAP APO).
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for enhanced reporting and analysis.
  • APICS CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification.
