Position Overview

We’re looking for a proactive and results‑driven professional to join our team in Green Bay as a Master Scheduler. In this role, you’ll play a key part in coordinating production planning, inventory flow, and network‑wide demand alignment while fostering strong collaboration across departments. Responsibilities

· Capacity & Backlog Planning: Monitor capacity, analyze backlog trends, and prepare reports supporting short‑ and long‑term planning decisions.

· Machine Scheduling & Sequencing: Develop and maintain efficient machine schedules, sequencing jobs to optimize throughput, reduce downtime, and minimize trim waste. Assess prior‑day manufacturing issues, adjust plans, and communicate impacts to operations and relevant stakeholders.

· Inventory Replenishment Planning: Develop and execute replenishment strategies using safety stock targets, forecasted demand, and material availability to maintain optimal inventory levels.

· Network‑Wide Planning: Support high‑level planning initiatives to balance demand across the network and improve utilization.

· Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Production, Quality, Logistics, and Procurement to resolve scheduling conflicts, align priorities, and support customer needs.

· Inventory Health Management: Review inventory levels, aged stock, and safety stock calculations; contribute to forecast‑driven adjustments and help lead Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) activities.

· Data & KPI Reporting: Provide reporting and analysis of key performance indicators, including on‑time delivery, inventory turns, and production efficiency, using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and our ERP system (QAD).

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3–5 years of scheduling, production planning, or inventory management experience in manufacturing; experience in paper, packaging, or related industries is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, and/or SQL.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of scheduling practices, inventory control principles, safety stock methods, fill rate optimization, and backlog management.
• Ability to thrive in a flat organizational structure and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work in office, with flexibility, along with core hours being 7:30am-4:30pm.
