What you’ll do

• Deliver personalized massage therapy services in a clinical setting, tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Must be able to apply deep tissue/pain relife techniques safely and effectively to address pateint specific needs and treatment goals.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical/occupational therapists and wellness staff to integrate massage into the care plan.
• Document treatment plans, monitor progress, adjust techniques and communicate outcomes.
• Adhere to licensure requirements, safety protocols and ethical best practices.

What we’re looking for

• Valid North Carolina Massage Therapist license.
• Licensed Massage Therapist by NC Board, required. Specialty Massage Certificate (i.e. oncology), required.
• Myofascial release training a plus. 
• Experience in massage therapy—clinical or wellness/rehab environment preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills: empathy, strong communication, ability to connect with a diverse patient population.
• Adaptability: able to adjust techniques according to patient condition, recovery phase and comfort level.
• A team-oriented mindset—ready to contribute in a dynamic health-care setting.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: Minimum of one yr experience in massage therapy, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Licensed Massage Therapist by NC Board, required. Specialty Massage Certificate (i.e. oncology), required.
  
• Additional Skills Required: Excellent customer service skills
• Additional Skills Preferred: Membership in the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).
