Job Summary
The Marketing Specialist supports HRST’s marketing and communication efforts by developing and executing content, campaigns, and initiatives that promote HRST’s products, services, and technical expertise within the power generation and industrial markets. This role bridges the gap between HRST’s highly technical solutions and effective marketing communication by working closely with engineering, sales, and product/service teams.

Key Responsibilities / Duties
Focus
Develop and support creation of marketing materials and content aligned with HRST brand standards.
Write, proofread, and edit technical and creative content including:
· Articles
· Case studies
· Website content
· Press releases
· Marketing collateral
Support development of technical publications, webinars, and industry content.
Assist in creating product and service promotional materials, including videos and animations.
Maintain and manage marketing contact lists and communication distributions.
Align
Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Product, and Leadership teams to develop accurate and compelling messaging.
Support execution of strategic marketing initiatives and campaigns.
Coordinate marketing efforts for:
· Trade shows
· Conferences
· Training events (including HRSG Academy)
Ensure consistency with HRST brand guidelines across all materials.
Support internal communication and alignment of marketing efforts with business objectives.
Achieve
Enhance HRST’s visibility and reputation within the power generation and industrial markets.
Improve engagement through effective communication and content distribution.
Support continuous improvement of marketing processes, tools, and messaging.
Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify new opportunities.
Manage and improve project feedback and customer survey processes.
Contribute to measurable growth in brand awareness and lead generation.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, or related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to write and edit both technical and non-technical content.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a small team environment.
Strong attention to detail.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign required).
Experience in technical marketing or industrial/engineering environments.
Graphic design experience.
Experience supporting:
· Trade shows
· Industry events
· Technical publications
Experience creating or coordinating video and digital media content.
Familiarity with B2B marketing strategies.
