Marketing Specialist - Underground Utility Construction Company
Office Location – Kearneysville, WV

* Qualified candidates must reside within a daily commute distance of the corporate office and be willing to travel often for client meetings, company events, and project visits.

Our Client, a well-established underground utility construction company, is seeking a professional, technology savvy and outgoing Marketing Specialist to join their team. This individual is responsible for presentations and coordinating demonstrations of this product to current and potential clients.

The Marketing Specialist will also maintain the company’s website and social media presences.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or public relations preferred
• Presentation / demonstration experience of construction processes or similar services is highly plus
• Experience professionally and confidently presenting company and project details to groups and all levels of management & personnel within an organization
• Experience creating media content: This includes text posts, videos, and images for social media
• Excellent leadership skills with the confidence to lead, collaborate and engage key internal and external partners
• History of organizing and attending trade fairs, events, and exhibitions for a B2B environment
• Technologically savvy with a strong knowledge of updated websites and company information on social media platforms
• Must have the ability to travel weekly at times and be flexible with daily schedule
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record

Marketing Manager’s Essential Functions:
• Develop and present company’s construction services and products
• Supports the project team through the client’s entire interviewing and bidding process
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and executive team to develop proposal content tailoring the presentation details to the client and project type
• Develop marketing materials to support the company’s mission, core values and services; continuously updating essential components to client or event’s requirements
• Promoting products and services on the company’s website and social media applications in a way that is consistent with the organization's brand and social media strategy
• Coordinate and attend all industry trade shows, exhibitions, and community events
• Timely follow up with clients after project completion to obtain feedback; track detailed results and communicate concerns and improvements to the accountable team member
• Identify and research potential markets to expand for example, government municipalities, contractors, engineering firms.
• Maintain the company’s library of essential proposals, on-going updates to the potential client database, project photography, awards, advertising, and marketing materials

Overview of Schedule and Compensation:
• Salary position based on experience level
• Office work and travel to potential customers, events and projects sites are required (50%+ travel)
