Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to support and execute key marketing initiatives across multiple channels. This role will play a critical part in donor stewardship, CRM management, campaign execution, website development, and overall marketing operations. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with the ability to manage data, communications, and digital platforms effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Donor Stewardship
Develop and implement donor stewardship strategies to enhance engagement, retention, and satisfaction
Coordinate personalized communications, acknowledgments, and reporting for donors
Track donor activity and engagement metrics to inform outreach strategies
Collaborate with leadership to support fundraising campaigns and initiatives
CRM Management
Maintain and optimize CRM system to ensure accurate and up-to-date donor and stakeholder data
Generate reports and insights to support marketing and development efforts
Manage segmentation, data hygiene, and workflow automation within the CRM
Train team members on CRM best practices as needed
Multi-Channel Marketing
Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across email, social media, digital, and print channels
Develop compelling content aligned with brand voice and organizational goals
Monitor campaign performance and optimize based on data-driven insights
Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure consistent messaging
Website Development & Management
Maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy, usability, and SEO optimization
Collaborate with developers/designers on website enhancements and new features
Monitor website performance, analytics, and user experience
Ensure all digital content aligns with brand standards
Operational Support
Provide day-to-day marketing and administrative support to ensure smooth operations
Assist in project management, timelines, and campaign coordination
Support event marketing and promotional efforts as needed
Manage marketing assets, templates, and documentation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or related role
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Blackbaud, etc.)
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and best practices
Experience with website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in nonprofit or donor-focused environments
Familiarity with marketing automation tools
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or web editing tools
Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.)
