Our marketing team is looking for an agile and engaged professional who thrives in a collaborative environment. As a single-discipline structural engineering firm based in Seattle, Tacoma, and Portland, we’ve built a strong reputation in healthcare, education, commercial, civic, and residential markets. Our marketing team works closely with our design and construction clients to prepare compelling qualifications and proposals, with an emphasis on high-quality work and responsiveness to deadlines.

The marketing coordinator is a trusted partner in producing proposals and qualifications, and completes other marketing tasks as needed, including collateral generation, website updates, pursuit tracking and research, graphic design, social media content creation and assistance with internal and external event planning and production.


What you’ll do:

  • Assist marketing team with day-to-day marketing tasks and coordinates marketing projects and activities as requested.
    • Monitor upcoming pursuit opportunities and manages go/no-go process with firm leadership.
    • Track pursuits from RFQ to project award on intranet.
  • Work with clients, principals, and marketing team to develop SOQs for project pursuits.
  • Assists with interview preparation.
  • Develop copy for use in collateral, website, and award submittals.
  • Develop custom graphics, stationery, brochures, flyers, etc. as needed.
  • Manage and develop mass emails to clients for various marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare letters and e-mail to clients in response to questions and proposals.
  • Co-lead/assist Marketing Teams with pursuit strategy and research.
  • Produce clear and concise written correspondence in the form of letters and emails.
  • Monitor A/E/C and marketing industry news.
  • Manage social media platforms (text and graphic posts only)
  • Assist with website content updates.
  • Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time. 

What we need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English or related field preferred, or equivalent experience in administrative/marketing role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience.
  • Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment, consistently meet deadlines, and communicate workload with marketing team.
  • Ability to work largely self-directed and independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
  • Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy.
  • Ability to write and edit copy for various applications, including press releases, marketing collateral, and social media.
  • Ability to create and edit graphics and document layouts in InDesign and Illustrator.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Well organized and self-motivated.

Work Environment:  Work is in an office setting with extensive computer work.
