Fox Pest Control is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to support internal and field-facing communications, develop content that supports the brand, and help drive key initiatives through completion. This role will support a wide range of work, including campaign rollouts, internal messaging, email content, public relations support, culture and community initiatives, vendor-coordinated deliverables, and the annual Culture Book.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who can write, organize, coordinate, and drive work through completion, not just track projects. The right person will move work forward by managing details, gathering content, collaborating with stakeholders and vendors, removing roadblocks, and ensuring important initiatives are completed well and on time.
Responsibilities:KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communication and Content:
- Write, edit, and refine copy for internal communications, marketing initiatives, branch rollouts, presentations, email campaigns, public relations materials, and other department needs
- Help develop clear, consistent messaging across internal, field-facing, and public-facing communications
- Support content development for campaigns, launches, and special initiatives by gathering, organizing, and shaping raw material from stakeholders, employees, meetings, and other source materials into usable copy and messaging
- Assist with recaps, summaries, leadership updates, talking points, announcements, press materials, and other communication needs
- Help identify and coordinate storytelling opportunities tied to company initiatives, community impact, branch milestones, and brand moments
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and outside partners to support PR-related opportunities and ensure messaging is accurate, timely, and on brand
Project Ownership and Execution:
- Help move assigned initiatives from kickoff through completion, not just through status tracking
- Build and maintain timelines, task lists, calendars, and follow-up plans to keep work moving
- Identify missing pieces, follow up on open items, and remove roadblocks that could delay delivery
- Complete executional tasks directly when needed rather than only coordinating work through others
- Help ensure important details are accounted for before launch or delivery, including approvals, source content, copy, legal needs, release forms, production details, and distribution plans
- Work closely with the director of marketing, designers, producers, and other partners to ensure work is clear, actionable, and completed
Culture, Community, and Brand Initiatives:
- Support the planning and execution of community and culture-driven initiatives, including programs such as Foxgiving and Make-A-Wish
- Coordinate timelines, communication, approvals, logistics, and stakeholder follow-through for special initiatives
- Help identify and capture storytelling opportunities tied to community involvement, employee participation, and brand moments
- Support development of the annual Culture Book by coordinating story collection, sourcing quotes and testimonials, organizing content, drafting supporting copy, and manage the project from content gathering through final production
- Use tools such as employee video submissions, internal outreach, and leadership all-hands transcripts to gather and organize meaningful source material for Culture Book content and other storytelling needs
Vendor and Production Coordination:
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners on items such as swag, printed materials, signage, promotional pieces, and other marketing deliverables
- Help manage vendor communication, deadlines, proofs, revisions, and production follow-through
- Work with internal stakeholders to gather needed information and ensure deliverables are accurate and on brand
- Support organization of files, links, assets, documentation, and handoff materials tied to active projects
Department Support:
- Help bring structure and visibility to work across the creative marketing team
- Support project intake, prioritization, and coordination as needed
- Help improve workflows, documentation, and repeatable processes that make the department more efficient
- Assist in keeping projects organized so the team can spend less time chasing details and more time producing quality work
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support department priorities and help key initiatives move forward
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, content, project coordination, or a related role
- Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once
- Strong follow-through and attention to detail
- Experience coordinating cross-functional work and keeping stakeholders aligned
- Ability to gather information from many sources and turn it into clear, usable content
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to solve problems without waiting to be told every next step
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting an in-house marketing, brand, or creative team
- Experience writing internal communications or rollout messaging
- Experience coordinating special projects, culture initiatives, or community-based programs
- Experience working with vendors, printers, promotional partners, or outside agencies
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, or similar platforms
- Experience helping shape content from interviews, transcripts, testimonials, or employee-submitted material

- Base Salary: $65,000 to $75,000 per year
