The Marine Services Business Unit is seeking a Warehouse Technician in Vancouver, WA.
What You'll DoKey Responsibilities:
Prepare and Service Equipment: Take pride in cleaning, servicing, and preparing vessels, vehicles, and trailers for immediate deployment, ensuring they are in optimal condition for our projects.
Proactive Maintenance: Ensure all trucks, vessels, and generators are fully serviced and operational, coordinating major servicing to maintain peak performance.
Inventory Management: Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, managing spare parts and tools inventory to create an efficient working environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers for mobilization, demobilization, and job-specific tasks, fostering strong communication and teamwork.
Attention to Detail: Conduct thorough equipment servicing, including cleaning, rust removal, and lubrication, to extend the life of our assets.

What You BringRequired Qualifications:
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a warehouse, technical, marine, or scientific support environment supporting equipment handling, organization, maintenance, and general facility upkeep.
Ability to maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization, including proper disposal of trash, recycling, batteries, oily waste, and other hazardous materials in accordance with established procedures.
Experience assisting with mobilization and demobilization (MOB/DEMOB) activities, including equipment setup and breakdown, inventory tracking, equipment testing, and assessing consumable and supply needs, while adapting to changing priorities.
Familiarity with, or ability to learn, scientific or hydrographic instrumentation and related systems, including basic networking, cable handling/repair, communications equipment, basic mechanical tasks, and maintaining accurate maintenance documentation.
Valid driver's license with the ability to maintain a clean driving record; familiarity with boats and trailers, including trailering vessels, and ability to obtain a state boating license if required; effective written and verbal communication skills that contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Travel Expectations:
Willingness and ability to travel, including participation in extended field deployments and remote operations as required to support mobilization, demobilization, and field-based instrumentation activities.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Ability to perform physical and logistical support tasks, including safely lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, working in a warehouse, on a sea vessel, and in field environments, managing vessel toolboxes and safety equipment, and towing vessels as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating forklifts and chain hoists to improve warehouse efficiency.
Minor fabrication and rigging skills.
A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
