ATSS has a client in Theodore, AL always accepting resumes for Marine Assemblers/ Outfitter positions.
Must be able to pass a 10 panel Drug Screen and Background Check.
This is a long term position that will lead to higher level positions with training if you are willing to learn, but you must have some electrical or carpentry experience to be considered.
Please note- in addition to the duties below you may also be required to operate a forklift, but only when authorized.
Entry Level- (4)
Must be able to:
- Read a tape measure
- Identify and work with various hand tools
- Assists more experienced Assemblers
- Fetch parts from carts for experienced Assemblers
- Rely on Supervisor’s judgement to complete goals
- Use established Company procedures to work in a safe manner
- Complete other duties as assigned
- Report to Shop Supervisor
- Expected to meet Level 3 criteria after 3-6 months training.
Starting pay is $17 an hour. After 90 days you will be eligible for full benefits.
Level 3-
Must be able to:
- Install various outboards (with instruction)
- Install various types of equipment (with instruction)
- Complete installation of all wiring, fuel and control and oil systems (with instruction)
- Install correct size and approved fuel, exhaust and water hoses (with instruction)
- Install steering systems in accordance with OEM instruction
- Rely on Supervisor’s judgement to complete goals
- Use established Company procedures to work in a safe manner
- Complete other duties as assigned
- Report to Shop Supervisor
This position starts off at $21 an hour, and after 90 days you will be eligible for full benefits.
Level 2-
Must be able to:
- Install various outboards (with instruction)
- Install various types of equipment (with instruction)
- Complete installation of all wiring, fuel and control and oil systems (with instruction)
- Install correct size and approved fuel, exhaust and water hoses (with instruction)
- Install steering systems in accordance with OEM instruction
- Calibrate gauges in accordance with OEM instructions
- Be familiar with ABYC standards and install equipment according to its guidelines
- To read a tape measure
- Operate power/cutting tools
- Be familiar with fresh/raw water and sanitary systems
- Begin troubleshooting
- Rely on Supervisor’s judgement to complete goals
- Use established Company procedures to work in a safe manner
- Complete other duties as assigned
- Report to Shop Supervisor
This position starts off at $24 an hour, and after 90 days you will be eligible for full benefits
