Manufacturing Welder

Shift: 6 am to 6pm then 6pm to 6 am two weeks days two weeks nights Monday to Friday

The Manufacturing Welder is responsible for weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture products according to drawings, specifications and other forms of instruction. Weld components in flat, vertical, horizontal or overhead positions. Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend and grind component parts. Detect faulty operation of equipment and materials. Examine work for defects. Operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade. Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.
