Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly on a W2 basis.
• Manufacturing Engineering experience
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Manufacturing Processes
• Leadership, communication, and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Six Sigma Methodology
• Corrective And Preventive Action (CAPA)
• Quality Control
• Experience with powertrain processes

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Support Manufacturing Process Engineering activity for Gear machining
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity
• Complete all quality launch documentation
• Apply engineering principles to improve manufacturing processes and products
• Lead and conduct process audits
• Conduct ergonomic evaluations and deliver corrective actions
• Create process and instruction sheets supporting quality methods
• Lead variability reduction and lean manufacturing initiatives
• Ensure compliance with standards
