Join our growing team in Charlotte, NC, where you’ll play a key role in improving production processes, boosting operational efficiency, and supporting overall product quality. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the Engineering Manager, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams while contributing to impactful, high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across departments to improve production processes and quality.
  • Manage machine builds and support design-for-manufacturing initiatives.
  • Lead and train teams on Lean Manufacturing tools (VSM, 6S, SMED, etc.).
  • Conduct cost analysis, support CI projects, and drive a culture of safety and efficiency.
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings and support quality assurance.
  • Travel to U.S. plants (up to 40%) with limited international travel.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in mechanical or manufacturing engineering (or equivalent).
  • 2 years of manufacturing experience (low-volume/high-mix preferred).
  • Strong Lean/CI background; Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
  • Experience in machining metals, castings, and machine tools a plus.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Epicor preferred), BOMs, routers, and costing/ROI.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
