Manufacturing Manager - Hudson, Ohio - JOB 26-00226

Salary Range: $100K - $115K Permanent Position with Benefits

Hudson, Ohio area manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Manufacturing Manager to oversee the day-to-day manufacturing operations, employees, and equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Graduate or GED, (college degree preferred)
  • 2+ years' work experience as a Manufacturing Manager
  • Comfortable with hiring and firing employees
  • oversee the day-to-day manufacturing operations, employees, and equipment
  • OEE, Gemba, Kaizen, & Lean manufacturing experience is desired to measure manufacturing productivity and identify the percentage of planned production time that is truly productive (monitor performance, quality, & safety)
  • Steel manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Write or review manufacturing reports and discuss with team, peers, and GM.
  • Analyze manufacturing data and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Direct corrections to manufacturing problems and foster a continuous improvement environment
  • Provide leadership and support to the manufacturing employees which includes coaching and/or counseling when necessary
  • Knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
  • Shift: M-F (5:45) 6:00am – 4:30pm
