Manufacturing Engineer

Micro Tech has an opportunity for you! This is a direct hire opportunity working first shift, full time with flexible 8 hours shift time between, 8:00AM-5:00PM; Monday through Friday.

Responsible for including but not limited to the following:

• Lead the introduction of new wire and cable assembly products into manufacturing, ensuring seamless transition from prototype to full production
• Collaborate with product design, quality, and supply chain teams to develop scalable and manufacturable wire harnesses and cable assemblies
• Develop and execute validation and qualification plans for new processes and equipment.
• Establish process flows, work instructions, and documentation for new wire and cable products
• Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for wire cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and connector assembly
• Assist with root cause analysis efforts, determine corrective actions, and facilitate implementation
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and transition to manufacturing
• New equipment specification, procurement, and qualification
• Process control and yield improvement
• Define, acquire, process, present, and interpret the data and information necessary to monitor all aspects of the manufacturing process
• Develop and mentor team members to effectively apply LEAN Six Sigma principles, tools and techniques in their regular work activities
• Other duties as assigned by management
