- Review product designs to ensure compliance with engineering principles, internal standards, customer requirements, and specifications.
- Coordinate technical development efforts, scheduling, and resolution of design and testing challenges.
- Develop 3D models of manufacturing sequences using simulation software to validate cost-effective processes.
- Support customer RFQs by providing technical insights and data.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure timely and cost-effective tooling and fixturing solutions.
- Design production and inspection fixtures and gauges.
- Create and distribute detailed operation drawings.
- Develop and input manufacturing sequences into the Management Information System (MIS).
- Direct integration of technical activities and production processes.
- Evaluate and approve design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
- Manage project expenses within approved budget constraints.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of advanced mathematical concepts (e.g., exponents, logarithms, permutations, quadratic equations).
- Experience applying statistical and analytical techniques such as variance analysis, correlation, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
- Familiarity with CREO (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) and Forge NXT simulation software is a plus.
- Ability to define complex problems, collect and analyze data, and develop logical solutions.
- Comfortable interpreting technical instructions presented in diagram or mathematical form.
